Are there any risks involved?

Previous studies have shown that a synbiotic can be used safely during pregnancy and therefore no risks are expected. Because the synbiotic concerns a long-term (ie a full gestational age) and daily intake of 2 capsules, only specific data on gastrointestinal complaints are collected (eg bloating, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, flatulence, abdominal pain or intestinal cramps).

Since this is a study, other risks and inconveniences that are currently unknown could arise. That is why we ask you to immediately report any new or worsened health problem to the researcher. If you need to take other medications, discuss this with the researcher before taking them.

The sponsor has a "No Fault insurance"  in the event of damage that is directly or indirectly related to your participation in the study.
