Synbiotics in Patients with Risk of Premature Birth: A Multicenter Double Blinded Randomized Placebo Controlled Trial
PRIORI is a randomised, multicentre, double-blind study comparing an oral synbiotic with a matching placebo.

Pregnant women who are at risk of spontaneous preterm birth (a history of preterm birth or premature rupture of membranes) between their 8th and 10th week of pregnancy.
The study will compare the influence of an oral synbiotic with a placebo on the vaginal microbiome and gestational age at delivery.
Oral synbiotics have been proven safe to use during pregnancy. So taking it does not cause any risk to you.
